Pingado and DataFast
DataFast is web analytics with revenue attribution. Its Meta integration brings ad spend into the same dashboard, so you can see return on spend next to your traffic.
Checked against DataFast's documentation, 29 September 2026.
Where they differ
- Reporting only, or reporting and sending. DataFast reads spend from Meta and reports on it. Its documentation does not describe sending conversions back. Pingado sends leads, trials and purchases to each platform, which is what their bidding learns from.
- UTMs or click IDs. DataFast ties revenue to a campaign by matching
utm_campaignto the Meta campaign name or ID, so every ad needs consistent UTMs. Pingado uses the click ID the platform adds to every click, with UTMs as a fallback. - Ad platforms. DataFast imports spend from Meta. Pingado sends conversions to Meta, Google, Reddit, X, TikTok and OpenAI.
- What the product is. DataFast is general web analytics with revenue attached. Pingado is ad tracking and attribution, not a web analytics tool.
- Payment providers. DataFast supports more, including WooCommerce. Pingado supports Stripe, Polar, Dodo Payments, Lemon Squeezy and Paddle.
When DataFast is enough
- You want web analytics and revenue in one tool, and ads are a small part of your growth.
- You take payments through a provider Pingado does not support.
When Pingado is the better fit
- You spend on ads and want the platforms to optimise on your leads, trials and purchases.
- You run ads beyond Meta, including newer channels like OpenAI Ads.
- You do not want attribution to depend on every ad having the same UTMs.
They can run side by side: DataFast for web analytics, Pingado for what goes back to the ad platforms.
